The ECMetAC Days 2023 conference will take place in the lecture hall of Hotel Kompas, Kranjska Gora. Participants will be accommodated in the same Hotel.
Kranjska Gora (elevation 800 m, population 1,500) is situated in the heart of Julian Alps in the north-west of Slovenia, bordering Italy and Austria. It is a known tourist place, hosting annually an event in the Alpine skiing World Cup series for the slalom and giant slalom. The ski jumping hill Planica is located in the nearby Tamar valley. During the summer season, Kranjska Gora offers many attractive mountain hiking possibilities.
