Registration and Accommodation
The conference site is Hotel Kompas 4* in Kranjska Gora, where all conference activities (accommodation, meals, lectures) will take place. The Hotel offers free access to the swimming pool and free car parking. Participants will be accommodated in single and double rooms (PhD students and postdocs will be preferentially accommodated in double rooms). The ECMetAC budget assigned to the conference allows covering the accommodation and conference expenses for up to four participants from a given ECMetAC member institution (to be specified in the Registration Form). This includes covering the accommodation for three nights (Nov. 27/28, 28/29 and 29/30).
For those participants of the Workshop on 27th Nov. afternoon, who need to travel to Kranjska Gora already a day before for logistic reasons, ECMetAC budget will cover also the extra night Nov. 26/27 (the participants are asked to guarantee their presence by a credit card, which will be used to cover the one-night accommodation costs in the case of no-show; see the “Workshop” item of the “Program” menu).
Participants not included in the quota of four participants per ECMetAC member institution need to cover their accommodation expenses (bed and breakfast, meals, get-together and gala dinner) directly at the Hotel reception upon departure. The pricelist is available here. There is no conference fee. Coffee breaks are offered complimentary.
